~~~
She runs and tries to catch his tail,
But the dragon got away
It’s just another day-for Avery
She dreams of walking on the moon
And sailing through the stars
Nothing is too hard-for Avery
Chorus:
And Avery I wish we’d see the world more like you
A place of what ought to be and where dreams come true
She leads us on her whaling ship
Beyond the Arctic Seas
She loves her mysteries-our Avery
“Don’t come without your overcoat
“A chill is in the air”
She yells from our back stair-our Avery
Chorus
Someday she’s going to rule the world
God knows she’s making plans
But I think we’re in good hands-with Avery
And then we’re going to fly away
To a world we can’t yet see
Where good things wait for me-and Avery
Chorus
I hope her mom and dad won’t mind me stealing some video of Avery from their FB page! (Avery is my great niece and bestest bud.)
    Cool, discovered the benefits of Linear by accident when I ordered 3 pots for a Strat and recieved Linear , so after a year soldering and messing I ended up with Linera Vol, audio 1st tone linear 2nd tone which works for me as I put 2 different caps in .022uf for neck, .047 for bridge and middle, get a sort of bouncy springy but warm tone....but as usual I shall continue experimenting. That is the only way to find the sound that makes you happy.
      @@wildbillhackettGreat review, thanks. You need reviews that tell you what you need to know. I'm considering buying this guitar. I already have their cheapest acoustic, which is astonishingly good for the price, though bright, and narrow nut. From Thomann I also bought the Baton Rouge X11LS/F-CC, with 46 mm nut, for that reason, and its fellow parlour, also 46 mm. Neither ampllified, both good, light, attractive guitars. You can always install a pickup. I bought an old Eko with ruts, sanded the underside of the floating mahogany bridge to lower the action (still too high, the problem with old acoustics), mixed the sawdust with wood glue to fill the ruts, then sanded them (not for everyone, but better than ruts, you just need the same colour wood). A walnut rubbed on wood makes a nice touch-up. I actually oil my fingerboards with sesame oil (darkish) never a problem with smell, which goes away. Pao Ferro fretboard on your guitar apparently between rosewood and maple in hardness, so you must play a lot! Loved your other songs, very resonant and evocative. I also enjoy the few videos of Jerry Knipper, on YT, with about 10 views each, you can't win 'em all. But like you, he loves guitar, and in return it loves him, And you too, beautiful playing, and songs, thanks. You rescue songs which don't often get an airing, and give them new life, buried treasure (Don't Think Twice, remember when BD first sang it).
      @@jonathannewby5795 I really appreciate those kind words, Jonathan. And I'm glad at least one of us knows what to do about ruts! It's amazing how good a guitar you can get for very little money these days. I played the best sounding guitar I ever heard in my life a couple of weeks ago and believe it or not it was a $900 Taylor 114ce. It was very responsive too. I owned 314ce for several years and it couldn't begin to compete with this cheapo model. Unfortunately they saddled it with a child sized neck. It would be great for Travis picking though (where your thumb has to come over the top of the fretboard). Yes, I very much like giving new arrangements to old, obscure songs that I think are good. Was working last night on "Death and the Lady" although I doubt I'll be able to touch John Smith's version.
